Style Tools
Since 2016, I’ve kept a notebook of what worked and what didn’t every time I got dressed for something that mattered. Over the years, the same questions kept coming up. Is this color doing me any favors? Is this worth the money? Do I have enough to wear, or just too much of the wrong thing? Why do these trousers look wrong when they fit?
These tools answer those questions in a minute or less. They’re free, they need no sign-up, and they’re built for women over 40 who want fewer clothes and better outfits. Pick the one that matches your question today.

Each tool works on its own, but they’re designed to work together. If you’re rebuilding your closet or simply tired of having nothing to wear, this order works best:
- Find your best colors. Your palette decides which neutrals your closet is built on, and neutrals are what let everything go together.
- Count your outfits. Enter the pieces that already go together and see how far they stretch. You may need less than you think.
- Check before you buy. When the capsule calculator shows a gap, run the piece you’re considering through cost per wear first.
- Get the fit right. Trousers are worn more than almost anything, so the right length pays off every single day.
- Get dressed. Use the outfit formulas to turn your closet into real looks for work, weekends and occasions.
Why I made these tools
Most style advice for women our age falls into two camps: hide everything, or dress like you’re 25. Neither works. What does work is knowing a few facts about yourself: your colors, your proportions, what you actually wear, and what you’re willing to pay for. After that, getting dressed stops being a guessing game.
My rule: nothing comes into my closet unless I can wear it three ways with what I already own. Several of these tools are built around that same idea, so you’ll see it come up.

Frequently asked questions
Are the tools free?
Yes, every tool is free to use as often as you like, with no sign-up and no email required.
Do you save my measurements or answers?
No. Everything is calculated in your own browser, and nothing you enter is sent to me or stored anywhere. If you refresh the page, your answers are gone.
How accurate are the results?
The calculators use simple, well-known formulas, and each tool page explains exactly how it works. The results are a smart starting point, not a final verdict. A mirror, a tailor and your own judgment always get the last word.
Do the tools work on my phone?
Yes. Every tool is designed to work on phones, tablets and computers, so you can use them in a fitting room or at the tailor.
Will you add more tools?
Yes. A coat and dress length finder, a closet audit and a jeans fit finder are in the works. If there’s a question you’d like a tool for, tell me.
